Terms of service
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the online store operated by KOTARO TANIYAMA (the Store). By using the Store you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
2. Formation of an order
An order is formed when you complete the checkout process and we send you an order confirmation email. We may nevertheless decline an order at our discretion, even after it has been formed, and refund the amount paid, in cases such as stock shortage, misstated prices or product information, failed payment, orders judged to be for resale, or other circumstances we consider inappropriate.
3. Made-to-order production and lead time
All items are made to order. Production takes approximately 2-4 weeks after your order is confirmed, and items are shipped as they are completed. Lead times may shift depending on material availability, in which case we will contact you in advance.
4. Prices and payment
Prices and shipping rates are shown at checkout. Prices for delivery within Japan include Japanese consumption tax. For delivery outside Japan, prices are shown excluding Japanese consumption tax, and any customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer. Prices shown in foreign currencies vary with exchange rates.
5. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our separate refund policy.
6. Product presentation
Colours may appear different from the actual item depending on your viewing environment. As garments are finished by hand, slight variation between individual pieces occurs. Neither constitutes a fault.
7. Intellectual property
Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the designs, images, text, logos and all other content of the Store belong to us or to the rightful owners. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use without permission is prohibited.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Store in any way that breaches law or public order, infringes our rights or those of a third party, interferes with the operation of the Store, involves registering false information, or constitutes a purchase made for the purpose of resale.
9. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss arising from interruption or suspension of the Store or from loss of data. Our liability is in all cases limited to the purchase price of the item concerned.
10. Personal information
Personal information is handled in accordance with our separate privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms as necessary. Amended terms take effect when published on this page.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction at first instance over any dispute arising from use of the Store. Where you are a consumer, this does not affect mandatory rights available to you under the consumer protection law of your country of residence.
